John 14:2 KJV

[2] In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

John 14:3 KJV

[3] And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Mansions, Street of Gold, No Work, I could go on and on with this list but in all reality it shows one thing. There are no “consolation prizes” when we get to Heaven. We will all be equals when we reach that golden shore. It will not matter the color of my skin nor how I wronged whom ever here on this earth. Our God has washed away those feelings of hatred and sin with the precious blood of Jesus Christ. The red blood makes us white as snow. My brother in law stated often in his sermons “they have been removed as far as the east is from the west”. I had to have him explain that to me one day. He said, “picture a globe, now place your finger in the middle and go north. Once you reach the top your direction changes and you go south. Now go back to the middle and go east. No matter how many times you go around that globe, you are always going east, or if you went west you will always go west. That is God’s promise to us that as we go travel our sins are erased, after salvation, and remembered no more. All of our sins, so with all of our sins gone, the murderers, the drunkard, the prostitute, all of the saved shall be as equals. I will be no better than you and likewise you no better than me. NO CONSOLATION PRIZES. NO SECOND PLACE.

1 Corinthians 13:12 KJV

[12] For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

I read somewhere a gentleman said all this talk about how beautiful Heaven must be but no one can tell me how beautiful it actually is. No one is able to describe its beauty. What if I don’t find it as beautiful as the things I see here on earth. He is looking through the glass, darkly. He is not seeing with faith but only with his eyes. He only sees what his brain says is real.

Romans 8:28 KJV

[28] And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
